I'm stunned. Got back from daughter's b-ball practic. Clicked on ESPN2 saw Tigers up 9 with 4 and a half to play and decided it was over. Pathetic! |

Time to resurrect the old Meadowlands chant. JOE MUST GO!!!!! Totally inexcusable loss tonight, unless Princeton runs the table the Ivy title is lost. And this team running the table right now is highly unlikely, they will probably lose to Harvard tomorrow. |

Pathetic is, indeed, the proper description of a coach that has taken a good team and destroyed it. His constant rantings against the players has robbed them of their confidence. Time for Scott to return to the Air Force. Bob Medina |

Go Green! Terry Dunn's preached perfecting the inside game and strong defense. Tonight, both paid off. Especially nice game by freshman forward Chuck Flynn, 10 points, 7 boards. |

Bobmed...Scot is a good coach. He has some serious issues that are effecting player confidence, there's no question; but, if he would step back and go a little more lightly...if someone would help him or he tempered his style with out-side therapy/a pat on the butt, compliment a player when deserved and got out of their faces, things would pick up. Right now, I suspect, there aren't many on the team that're willing to play their hearts out. It's a kind of almost unconscious rebellion. Some of the players feel drained out...almost abused...yet they do want to win. They're exhausted before the game begins. If Scot learns something from this (or some one pulls him aside...) then the players, the team, Scot, can still win it all. But Scot has to lighten up. (I wish I could say more) |

Pete said one of the major reasons he retired is that his "style" wasn't working with this generation of players. Joe must have been out of the room at the time, since he's now playing out some fantasy of himself as the new, improved Carril. |

Got to be true. The fact that Dartmouth was within nine with 5 minutes left indicates that they were doing something right, especially on defense. |
