I've been meaning to bring this point up since Steve Lapis' dumb comment about BU will be favored to win again next year because they are "only losing six ppg " due to Cohen's graduation.
Even when given a chance to back-pedal, Lapis charged on. Reminded of Cohen's defensive prowess he said words to the effect "I don't care! You can always get somebody to play defense. I'd trade offense for defense any day."
Well Steve, just to let you know, the 11 or so points that CJ McCollum falls below his normal scoring average in tonight's game IS offense for Bucknell, and those points ought to be credited to Brian Cohen. Those, plus the six he'll score make BC a 17 point player. And yes, Bucknell will sorely miss those points next year.
