In response to HARVARDDADGRAD
Mason would go in as a PG, which is evaluated in a very different way from a wing like Saunders. While I think he's a long shot, the NBA has plenty of PGs, both starting and backup, who are small and quick. But they usually have to be exceptionally good at something compared to the typical college player, whether that be playmaking, scoring, or defending. A second-unit point guard who can score consistently against normal defenses and create openings for teammates against defenses rotated toward him might have a place. But I would be shocked if that happened right away for Mason--he still has room to improve on a lot of things, despite how good he is now.
