Up by eight in the waning moments of the first half and with Penn having six fouls, the Lions inexplicably stop attacking the basket and Penn goes on a big run to take a two point lead at halftime. Columbia's mysterious substitution pattern continues with Kendell Jackson playing most of the first half after not seeing much action the last three weeks. Quinton Adlesh hit from the outside before he was yanked. Columbia has a chance to defeat Penn if the coaching staff leaves Luke, Patrick, Nate, Mike and Quinton on the floor from the beginning of the second half until they buzzer sounds
