I didn't care for him precisely because of the Bad Boys. They weren't good for the NBA or basketball in general.
Then when the Bulls finally dispensed with that stuff, Detroit pulled extremely poor sportsmanship right before the conclusion of 1991 Game 4 ECF, with Isiah, Laimbeer (being heartily embraced by McCloskey) and most of the Bad Boys (Dumars and Salley being rare exceptions) walking off the floor maybe 10-15 seconds before the game was over, just so they wouldn't have to shake hands with the Bulls.
It was enough to get Isiah disinvited from the Olympic team, but frankly Chuck should have been penalized as well. And McCloskey enabled that gang from the beginning.
