In response to Bryan
I don't know about other Ivy teams, but Princeton has twice won the league championship after losing two first team All Ivy players.
In 1962, Pete Campbell and Al Kaemmerlen were first team All Ivy and the following year Princeton won the league title in Bill Bradley's first year on the varsity.
And in 1976, Armond Hill and Barnes Hauptfuhrer were both first team All Ivy; Hauptfuhrer graduated and Hill, a junior, left for the pros and the following year Princeton won the Ivy title, led by Frank Sowinski, Bill Omeltchenko, Bob Roma, and Bobby Slaughter.
So it can be done!
