Thanks for the reminders about Princeton having twice won the Ivy title after losing 2 first team All-Ivy players. After reading your post I went back and checked the history on the Ivy League sports website. There were no additional examples for Princeton. The only other Ivy school I found that had lost 2 first team all-Ivy players and then won (or tied) for the league title was Penn. They have done it 3 times. In 1973 after losing Corky Calhoun and Bob Morse. In 1980 (playoff win against Princeton) after losing Tony Prince and Matt White. In 1996 (lost playoff to Princeton) after losing Matt Maloney and Jerome Allen. I learned something from this- it's not as unlikely as I had thought.
