In response to Bison137
Assistant coach Carissa Thielbar resigned a few weeks ago. I presume she is moving back to her home area of the Upper Midwest. Her husband is a former MLB pitcher who has been pitching for St. Paul in the independent league.
Thielbar went a little further west than I expected. She is now an assistant at Colorado State in the MWC. Colorado State has won the MWC the last four years, while going 63-9 in league play.
The Bison named her replacement the other day, and it is someone with a much more extensive resume than would have been expected. The new coach is Jeanine Radice, who was the top assistant at Delaware for the past 21 years. Prior to that, she was an assistant at Seton Hall and Marist. She lost her job when Delaware's long-time head coach retired.
Radice graduated from Fordham in 1989, having been league POY in 1989, ROY in 1985, and three times All-MAAC. She was also a cross country star and was inducted into Fordham's HOF in 1995. During her time at Fordham, she hit .475 on threes, scored over 2400 points, and led the team in assists three times.
