The field has been set for the 2017 Gulf Coast Showcase at Estero, FL. Penn will play Northern Illinois in a first round game at 5:00 pm on November 20th. The first round schedule is as follows:
11:00 am - Missouri-Kansas City vs. Manhattan
1:30 pm - Georgia Southern vs. Missouri State
5:00 pm - PENN vs. Northern Illinois
7:30 pm - Towson vs. Florida Atlantic

While the field is lacking in more notable teams that have been in the tournament in past years(Houston and George Mason, for example), it is a good chance for the Quakers to win a early season tournament and build up some early season wins, although I am not so certain how it will impact in a favorable way for the RPI (since several were sub-200 last year).
