Vegas has the Tigers as a 4 1/2 pt favorite. Let's hope that they are as accurate as the Tiger/Butler odds. Both BYU and St. Joe's game should be competitive on paper but ....

The Ivies have not gotten off to a good start other than the Columbia/Villanova game and to a lesser degree Princeton/Butler. The IL wins so far have also been against inferior competition. It has not been "pretty" basketball based on a few TV games to put it mildly but it is very early in the season.

Tonight and Saturday night should provide information if the Tigers will be a "player".
