With all due respect, Clyde, how can you not criticize the current coaching staff for the attrition in the front court--five of our eight front court players have departed in the last year. And, the current coaching staff only recruited one front court player who is eligible next year. Also, your suggestion that Kyle Smith caused this problem makes little sense. Indeed, Eberle's recruitment did not work out, but Kyle did leave Engles two studs in Meisner and Tape, whereas Engles has only recruited two eligible frontcourt players (Brumant and Nweke) in two years who are still with the team. Finally, you might wish to reconsider your suggestion that anyone who is critical of the coaching staff does not support the program. Surely, you are aware of this team's disappointing record the past two years, and that the preseason projections are likely to have us finish in the Ivy League cellar. In my opinion, the amount of criticism of the coaching staff has been mild under the circumstances. Unless things improve, there is bound to be much more criticism.
