The Bison got 14 of a possible 18 first place votes in the official PL preseason poll:

Patriot League Women's Basketball Preseason Poll
Bucknell â€“ 154 (14 first-place votes)
American â€“ 137 (2 first-place votes)
Loyola Maryland â€“ 129 (4 first-place votes)
Lehigh â€“ 91
Navy â€“ 91
Holy Cross â€“ 81
Army West Point â€“ 75
Lafayette â€“ 63
Boston University â€“ 56
Colgate â€“ 23

Kate Walker and Kaitlyn Slagus were both named to the preseason All-PL team. Loyola was only 7-11 last year, but has four of the better players in the league. One of them, who was 1st team All-PL two years ago but missed last year due to an injury, returns for a 5th season. I think they should be better than American and probably the biggest threat.
