There was a reason in preseason Torvik picked Yale just behind Harvard, giving Yale about a 40% chance of making the tournament. It was a controversial choice, but seems to have been the right one.

On August 15th, I wrote:

"Yale is much more than a sleeper. If Bruner is healthy, then Atkinson, Reynolds and the bevy of talented guards makes the Eli's very very good."

No surprise here, as I made other posts at that time further explaining my rationale. Yale has all of the pieces.

If Harvard isn't totally healthy, Yale is the favorite. If both Harvard and Yale are healthy, then we could have two top 75 teams, or better! KP currently has Yale #86 and a depleted Harvard at #92. Penn could join the party with a big win tonight over Miami.
