My wife and I were at a holiday party this past weekend, and I started talking with a friend who is a local high school assistant football coach. He commented that they used to see recruiters from Bucknell Football on at least an annual basis, but they have not seen anybody from Bucknell for a few years. I found this very interesting.
Without naming the school, it is a Group IV (big) school located in South Jersey and has a very solid football tradition.
Any thoughts on this?
I think it is just happenstance. Bucknell is still very active in Central NJ and Sputh NJ, and has landed many players from those areas in the past few years. They currently have 22 players from NJ on the roster, plus student coach Cinjun Erskine, the highly recruited QB who had to give up the game due to a serious injury.
