Tommy certainly has cause.

First and foremost, Kudos the the Lions and the Big Red, each of whom did enough to win.

Even though Harvard's play wasn't stellar against Yale and Brown, it was abysmal this past weekend.

To underscore, look at Assists vs TO's
Yale: 12A v 18TO
Brown: 12 v 16
Columbia: 9 v 18
Cornell: 7 v 24

Columbia played a great game on Friday and Harvard was fortunate to escape with a victory. Cornell played a good second half after trailing by 15. Sure Harvard was exhausted, banged up and short handed, but Amaker is correct in holding the players accountable as Harvard is good enough to have won that game.

No idea whether the walking wounded including Bassey, Juzang, Aiken and/or Johnson will be at full strength next weekend, but I don't think that's going to be Tommy's point of emphasis at practice this week. The Crimson have to play better basketball to be relevant come March.

On a separate point, all of Harvard's bigs were invisible on offense this weekend - even Chris Lewis. Columbia's Tape has developed nicely. He shot 15-17 for the weekend! His height, however, likely ironically cost Columbia Friday night's game as Bryce Aiken was able to jump and still fit underneath (via a double pump) Tape's attempt to block his shot.
