At this point, four out of the five likely starters to begin the season are either out or so banged up that it might be better if they're out.

While I guess I'd sign up for three Bryce Aiken 40-plus-point games to get them to MSG, it's probably best that they lose tonight. This team badly needs to get healthy and not incur any further damage. With Chris Ledlum coming in and Seth Towns returning, it's not like by giving rotation players starting minutes we're "seeing the future" anyway - at least not a future that's relevant until 2020-21. The top seven for next year will be Bryce, Seth, Noah, Juzang, Ledlum, Lewis and Bassey. Tonight, the bulk of minutes will likely go to players outside that top 7.
