- Hemmings told 247Sports he picked Tommy Amaker’s program over Princeton, Oregon, Ole Miss and Virginia. Hemmings grew familiar with Harvard's program via unofficial visits. He took trips to their campus three different times, including two weeks ago. -

- On the court, Hemmings is regarded as a three-star prospect and ranks No. 230 overall in the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Hemmings is ranked No. 168 in the Top247.

“I feel like my versatility is an asset on the court,” he said. “Being able to rebound like a big, push the ball up the court like a guard, shoot and also facilitate. I feel like I can play position-less basketball and be unselfish. I feel like I can mold well with the talent that Harvard has and make the team better.” -
