Last time they moved the line back a foot it had a trivial impact. % make rates went down by a percentage point and take rates went down by a percentage point and a a half. To be fair, that shift down was pretty sticky... it took about a decade to claw that percentage point back and get over 35%.

My guess is that you'll hear a lot about it when a team has a bad night, but it will rarely be presented in the context of the overarching averages not changing much.
