Frankie put together a very nice final season.
I think his finest moment was in the season opener his junior year (probably 8th year of eligibility) when Roy Williams brought Kansas into the Palestra as a favor to their longtime announcer who was about to retire. Frankie shot the lights out en route to a close loss. I have a bunch of courtside photos from that game somewhere. Dunphy managed to nurse him through his career, but he never came anywhere near what was expected of him. The weird thing was that I don't remember him ever getting injured. He was just always in pain.
