Could the opposite be the case? Could it be that Forrest knows that Engles will not be given an extension and he is hedging his position in the event that he is not happy with whoever is selected to replace Engles? Can a player withdraw from the portal? If Forrest ends up happy with whoever is selected to replace Engles he withdraws from the portal and stays at Columbia.
