Here is a list of when Bison recruits have committed during the scholarship era. All of them, of course, had received an offer prior to the commitment date - a number of them many months before. Most committed after July 18th - so it's not too late - but many had Bucknell offers/visits by July or August.
Mentally I kind of divide them into five buckets: Very early (winter/spring of junior year); early/normal (June/July); normal (August/September); late/normal (October/November); and late (after the end of November signing period).

Fwiw, the quality of the players who committed at the end of July or early August has been very high - Castleberry, Z. Thomas, Mike Muscala, John Azzinaro, Nate Jones, Nate Sestina, Kimbal Mackenzie, Jake Van der Heijden, Deuce Turner, Elvin Edmonds.
One other thing I always find fascinating is the group of players who committed "very early". Only four Bison in the scholarship era have committed before June 21st - Chris Haas, Ryan Frazier, Brady Muller, and Dom Hoffman. Muller was a covid anomaly, and the other three amazingly were all in the same recruiting class and all committed by early April of their junior years.
