I dunno, I think it depends what St. John's does. If, as Dick Weiss said in the NYDN, the Johnnies are really willing to open the vault for Billy Donovan, then a favored NY son like Tom Pecora might move from Hofstra to Seton Hall or Fordham and not St. John's. Don't think Donahue could get St. John's and who needs that grief. Also don't know how Donahue gets along with the Hurleys but he might have a shot at Seton Hall (if Danny Hurley doesn't want it), definitely Fordham if he wants it. Maybe Charlotte. Nice city and lots of direct flights to Philadelphia.
No idea where the family would be willing to move, but if Tubby Smith goes to Auburn, Minnesota might be an option. Maybe also Depaul. He and Fran McCaffrey may be battling over a few of the same jobs.
