I've said this before, but I LOVED the NIT experience in 1999.
I remember watching on ESPN/ESPN2 as Princeton took down Georgetown, NC State, and led Xavier -- by 12, I think -- at the half before losing (65-58). If the guys had held on, they would have advanced to the "Final Four" at MSG...that would have really been something.
Me too!  We went to the Georgetown game and it was so much fun. Terrific atmosphere.
