Yes, I think it is far more likely that Brown plays smallish than the big lineup originally suggested. You just don't see anybody play that way anymore, at least in the Ivy League. I think Brown would get killed, frankly, playing with 3 bigs AND Halpern, who in the Ivies qualifies as a big. They couldn't guard the smaller, quicker guys who play the 2 and 3 spots in the league.
So I agree that the question is more whether they go big (but not quite so big) with 2 out of McCarthy, Walker, and Maia and slide Halpern to the 3, or only start one of those three in the traditionalist lineup suggested.
And I apologize for being the obligatory Penn fan butting in on a Brown conversation.
