Cornell rushed out to a 7-0 lead, before Boudreaux put Dartmouth on the board. After getting the lead down to 1 at 10-9, the Green stayed close through the 6:30 minute mark. After Sistare's bucket made the score, 20-18 in favor of the Red, Fallas and Bathurst hit back-to-back threes to move it to an 8 point lead. Morgan hit a three just before the buzzer to take a 35-23 lead into the locker room.

Cornell still held at 12 point lead with 12 minutes to go, before a 9-2 Dartmouth run got them within 5, 54-49, with 8:30 to go. The Red then went on a 7-1 run over the next 1:45 to get the lead up to 11. 6-6 free thrown shooting over the last few minutes helped Cornell keep its lead and win by 13.

Cornell had four players scoring in double digits. Morgan had 22 points (and 7 rebounds), Bathurst had 16 points (3 assists, 0 turnovers), Gettings had 15 points (and 7 rebounds), and Whiteside had 11 points (and 6 rebounds).

The Red shot 45% for the game. They shot 35% from three and made 8 treys, but the team went 2-9 in the second half. They made 13 of 15 free throws for 87%.

Cornell was even on the boards, 37-37. They had only 10 turnovers, 3 in the second half. They also had 17 assists on 27 baskets. They got 8 steals and put up 34 points in the paint.

Dartmouth was held to 41% overall shooting, 32% in the first half. The Green shot 19% from three (4-21), including 11% (1-9) in the first half. Coming into the game, the Green was the 2nd best free throw shooting team in the Ivies, but they went 10-17 (59%) on Saturday night.

Boudreaux had a game-high 23 points and 14 rebounds. Smith scored 9 (all in the 2nd half), Barry had 8 (all in the first 12 minutes of the game) and Wright added 7 points.
