Win it 69-64 with Cannady hitting all the needed FTs. If this were the NBA, I'd say good professional job of closing out an inferior team on the road when you're not playing that well. Even for a college team, the rust factor had to be there. And they did clamp down defensively down the stretch.

Weisz and Stephens carried the bulk of the scoring load. Cook had an astounding save-the-ball-whille-flyi ng-way-out-of-bounds play at a critical moment and was tough on the boards. Cannady was solid as PG; he is very responsible in that role and I wonder if it isn't hurting his offense.
