Unimaginably poor performance on all scores by the Lions in the first half as Penn takes advantage of Columbia's multiple substitution system to take control early. Not to second guess the coach too much, but what was Petrasek doing on the bench early in this contest and why were Coby and Voss on the floor instead of Meisner. And when Meisner is on the floor why isn't he playing near the basket. And, finally why isn't Hickman driving to the basket. Penn is killing us on the offensive board because our guys are not in synch with one another. If the Lions want to win this game, they obviously need to start and Petrasek, Meisner, Hickman, Smith and Hunter in the second half and keep them on the floor intact.
