Yes it did at the time. But.....
The game had a surreal feel. Everything went in our favor. Never in trouble. Even if we missed a shot, we got the rebound, sometimes twice. Miller "pures" a three. Brennan drives aggressively.
Yet during the entire game deep from within I hear a voice: "but you still need to go to the Palestra and beat Penn". The newly un-dead team.
In past years there would be a long layoff until the NCAA tournament. This year we still must play our way in, but at least if successful, we won't be rusty.
It has been a great year; let's hope it continues.
