I think there are more women that buy into the team concept, but the number unfortunately is getting smaller as AAU now dominates the landscape. Auriemma, however, refuses to recruit players who don't think only of the team. Notre Dame, Maryland, South Carolina, and Baylor have at least as much talent as UConn this year - but they don't have the coaching or the team orientation that UConn has.
