Oh come on---they played no differently than Pat Riley's teams. It was a different era where there was far more physical contact and the game involved a degree of intimidation. Detroit was not alone and they had a great team that deserves kudos for its success at the time.
Certainly, McCloskey's death is not the time to make the point, anyway, but I disagree with you. It is pretty much the same kind of point as my saying that Jordan got all the calls.
