from AD: KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Columbia men’s basketball program received The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award, as announced today. These awards, now in its fifth season, recognize outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better for the 2016-17 season.
The Lions boasted a team GPA of 3.08 during the academic year and was one of four Ivy League institutions represented.
