Obviously the ability to get your shot is a huge part of being a good basketball player, so I don't want to be overly critical here. However, the rest of the team shot very close to 50% for the game. So one could make a statistical argument that, rather than nobody else doing anything, Smith kind of shot Columbia out of the game.

Of course , it is a very small sample size. Smith hits one more 3 and one more 2, and the whole thing looks very different statistically. So it is way early to make conclusions.
