Loyola has lost two close road games that they would have won if healthy. They are missing All-PL PG Andre Walker, who went down with some sort of injury two games ago, and also missing Chancellor Barnard, who is out for the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

The PL is currently 24-33 against non-conference opponents, and ranked #21 as a conference by Ken Pomeroy.
