Lions fall to Boston College 81-66 as Mike Smith is sensational once again, but even a super player like him can't do it all by himself. Thanks to Smith , Columbia has sprinted out repeatedly to big leads in many games including this one. However, college basketball is like a relay race, and, if for whatever reason, the runners you are passing the baton to can't keep up the pace, your team is going to lose the race. That seems to be what is happening here. Obviously, the coaching staff needs to devise a way to improve the team's performance after Smith hands over the baton.
