No strong schedule, no prospect of 2nd Ivy bid. Also, you can’t teach as much from playing cupcakes. Finally, good recruits want strong opponents. It’s a painful process. But, there is a greater up side to a tough schedule. Obvious risk: overwhelming the team and developing the wrong attitude. The coach’s job is to teach the players and keep them positive and focused on the future. Mitch seems to be doing pretty well at that. As long as he continues what he’s started, I’m going to sit back and wait for the incremental payoffs.🐅
