Here's a new NCAA study on D1 transfers in basketball:

Tracking Transfers in D1 Men's Basketball

One of the conclusions: "About 40% of all MBB players who enter Division I directly out of high school depart their initial school by the end of their sophomore year."

In contrast, Bucknell has had two scholarship players transfer - O'Brien and Show - since scholarships began. I believe that 41 freshmen came in on scholarships (not counting the current frosh and sophs). That makes the Bucknell transfer rate about 4.9%.
