Good to see Sotos taking shots. I felt like he declined several bona fide opportunities versus Boston University.
I thought the same thing. Sotos (and others were passing up open 3's and trying to dump the ball inside, which wasn't working. Glad to see them hitting them tonight.
It's important that Moore, Sotos, Robertson, Jones, etc hit the open threes. And that Brown be aggressive offensively. Army's game plan clearly was to take Nana and Zach out of the game and dare the others to beat them. They will likely see a lot more of this, which leads to tons of open threes from the corner and the wing. Those guys have to make 40% or more on the open ones to punish the opposition for double-teaming. Moore, Sotos, Robertson, and Jones tonight hit 11-21 on threes. They will continue to get open looks.
Team had 8 blocks and 9 steals - both season highs I believe. For most of the season, the total of those two categories has not exceeded ten. Bison seemed more aggressive on the defensive end, trying to make things happen.
