As somebody who was on campus from 2006-2010, I can say definitively that the "dark years" didn't always have a collection of diehards. I remember actually counting for a game and I started 1/3 of chants myself. I really miss how fantastic it was in '06-'07 when I was sitting practically halfway up in section 216 and every seat in front of me was occupied all around the corner of the arena to behind the basket. Not 3 years later, you could hear a pin drop many nights. I'm forever grateful to have at least had that one banner year during my tenure at Penn.
