I grew up with those teams—they were entertaining and competitive. I'm just stating the fact that they never quite got over the hump to the promised land, though I believe they were within a missed James Blackwell free throw or two in 1990-91 or so.



There were years in that era when we had the best starting five in the league. But just didn't have the quality depth necessary to beat the Ps.
