Interesting matchup at what's going to be a full Levien Gymnasium for Columbia's alumni weekend.
Columbia, at 1-3, is desperate for the win it needs against a top half Ivy team. A guard oriented team, Columbia has size with Faulds, Tape and Meisner, but Tape and Faulds play less than 20 minutes and Meisner prefers to score away from the basket.
Lewis will have his hands full, but the little known stat is that Columbia's big 3 can't shoot FT's: 30-60 or 50% among them. Faulds and Tape are below 50% (although Tape hit 70% last year). Irony is that Lewis needs to stay out of foul trouble. Welsh has been playing well. Time for Egi? Can't give up easy ones to guys who can't shoot FT's.
