Yale generally has good ball movement that can give their guys open shots if the Tigers do not play sound fundamental defense. They like to go to the middle and then dish out to the outside like the Tigers or give Atkinson a dunk shot if they do not switch quickly on the interior. Phils has become one guy that can take it all the way to the hoop. Yale will play tough and hard but their interior defense is not particularly good. For the Tigers good ball movement to get open 3 pt shots and contesting shots will probably be the key once again. It is very unlikely that this weekend will be like the Columbia/Cornell weekend but anything can happen in a given game.

Although a very important weekend to keep hopes up as to a 2nd IL regular season crown, the sad thing is that it is not a do or die weekend regarding the IL Tournament. IL Tournament and IL Digital network might take some of the buzz out of the regular season -- unfortunate.
