Columbia 2d half shooting:
60% FG
7-15 3's
11-12 FT's

The box scores from Harvard's schedule on gocrimson.com let's you select box score by half and play by play breakdown.

I think MrSmith called it right. If an opponent shoots very well then Harvard's offense will struggle to keep up. When an opponent shoots well in a road game, it's usually tough for any team.

Harvard was 6-18 on 3's in the second half after shooting 10-19 in the first half.

To my eye, both teams moved the ball well and shot well, but Columbia did it better in the second half resulting in more open looks and, well, some very opportune bombs from long range. Backbreakers at times.

I did feel that when Lewis rested is when Columbia won the game. Tommy tried to keep him out there as long as he could. With Lewis (+3), without him (-10)(roughly). With two bigs Columbia dominated Welsh and Djuricic. Welsh didn't score and had 2 rebounds and 3 fouls. Djuricic his 2 three's, but Columbia just kept posting down low, creating mismatches. Tape hit 5-6, but help resulted in open looks for others. Without Lewis, Meisner started posting Towns and Djuricic effectively.

Bryce looked distraught as he made it to bench. Tough kid. Great competitor. Gotta give him a lot of respect and hope for the best. Gotta do what's best for Bryce. Tournament, 4-1 start and schedule - 6 of remaining 9 games at home, finishing with Columbia and Cornell - all work in favor of shutting Bryce down.

Bassey did a great job in the first half on Smith, holding him to 2 points.

A win at Cornell tonight will help.
