It's a fair question. There's the debate around whether or not you set up but give the opposition a chance to set their defense. Or if you rely on your players' instincts and catch the defense off guard a little. Given the talent Brown has, and the ability of this team to make individual plays, I think it's smart to let them run some. If you think about some big last minute plays Brown has had in the last few seasons, including Hunsaker going coast-to-coast vs. Dartmouth, they've come when MM has let them go. In this case, given how the play seemed to be stunted even before that intercepted pass, a time out probably would have been the move. 20/20, etc.
