And not only is Engles just doing his job, he's doing his job well. I can't remember a string of Columbia recruits being rated this highly...Faulds (3.5*), Nweke (3*) and Ellis (2.3*).

I know the number of stars awarded bares no direct relationship to career performance. And there's always the issue of Engles' in-game coaching. Nevertheless, on average, I have to believe that higher rated recruits will perform better over time.

My point being that Engles appears to be the best recruiting coach we've had in a very long time, if the early returns are to be believed.
