First, the biggest Harvard basketball news was the Women's win over Penn, likely earning the Crimson a spot in the tournament.

For the men, a very gutsy win at Princeton in OT. Defense won the game. Harvard out of sync from the start. The Crimson didn't make a bucket for the first 5 minutes and fell behind quickly 10-2. Being there, it appeared that Corey and Seth were out of sorts. Corey only played 14 minutes and Seth only scored 9 points, making 3 baskets. Further, Christian Juzang who has been a clutch consistent shooter, was 0-6 on the Princeton rims. Bryce was in street clothes.

So, with Seth, Corey, Christian (and Bryce) making only 4 baskets, with Chris Lewis fouling out early in OT, with Myles Stephens scoring 33 points, Harvard shooting 32% from 3 and having 14 TO's, it's frankly amazing that Harvard won at Jadwin.

Here's why they won:
- DEFENSE! Bassey shut down Cannady (again; 7 pts). Crimson had 5 steals and 5 blocked shots.
- Juzang and Haskett limited down Bell (6pts) and totally shut down Young (0pts in 45 minutes)
- Other than Stephens, Princeton's bigs can't score over Lewis. Much had at least 5 of his 8 points early on vs Welsh. Aririzugoh made only 2 shots, but missed all 4 FT's.
- Harvard outrebounded Princeton 38-24
- Djuricic and Haskett played what was likely a season high in minutes, picking up for Corey and Seth. Djuricic and Haskett outscored Corey, Seth and Christian by themselves 21-16!
- Justin Bassey played amazing defense and took the ball to the defense, scoring 18 points. He did have 6 TO's, but Justin and Rio made things happen out there.
- Harvard made 15 of 17 FT's

This Princeton squad is not what we've come to expect, but the win at Jadwin last night underscored the growing depth and resilience of this Crimson team.

On to the Palestra!
