    In response to Old Bear

I appreciate the OB’s optimism. What I liked most was the ability to come back vs Columbia and punch back after losing the lead vs. Cornell. And I loved Choh’s performance vs. Cornell and thought Sullivan almost made the difference in that game.

As for the rest of it, I think this was the 2nd crummy weekend in a row. They are young and it all bodes well for the future that they’re in most of these games with so little experience. But you’d sort of hope at this point in the season and that with the Ivy tournament on the line, they’d have been able to make enough plays to take 1-2 of those games.

Ever since the Dez explosion at Princeton, I think the offense has actually become more tentative when he’s on the floor. It’s the right thing to look for Dez, because he helped deliver an historic and special win and because you know what he can do. But his quick-release three point shooting has been bad - quite possibly reflecting his ankle injury - and they’ve to some extent lived and died by it. When he’s struggling I’d like to see more of him usis his athleticism to get set up for an easy basket in the paint - not necessarily an alley oop - but to get to the rim. (In fairness he got to the line a lot on Friday).

But the best the offense looked all weekend was the stretch of the first half where Dez was out. Just a freer flow. Doesn’t mean I want him out. But the act of other guys not being able to look for him freed some things up for people.

LET'S go BRU-no (duh. nuh. nuh-nuh-nuh)
