mrjames, I give you lots of credit for being right on target about our freshman this year. With regard to the incoming class, I agree with you, in general, but, of course, you know that Kyle Smith spoiled us by finding some late and in some cases, great talent, at home or abroad, namely Petrasek (late boomer), Rosenberg, Mullins (Canada), Meisner (Germany) and Lo. It seems like Engles decided to stop recruiting for 2018-19 several months ago. That should not have happened as Columbia needs more than two incoming recruits to turn things around next year. People keep mentioning that Columbia is only losing two players to graduation, but that overlooks the fact that about five others did not play at all. Those returning players cannot be counted on to help next year so the Lions are really in need of several other quality recruits who could and should replace them. Hopefully, it's not too late for Columbia to locate a couple more talented players somehow, somewhere.
