The Bison currently are at #144 in the RPI. The close losses have really hurt. Had they won the two OT games, which many believe were taken away by poor officiating, they would be at #72. If they had won those two plus the close Northern Iowa game they would be at #41. As Eric pointed out, there is still plenty of time to move the RPI up significantly.
Three of the next four Bison opponents will be great for the RPI, especially if they can win some of them.
Xavier: 8-3 record; SOS .5451
Texas Tech: 9-3; SOS .5710
Central Arkansas: 1-6; SOS .4317
Marist (likely): 8-2; SOS .5044
