In the fall of 2017, then-senior basketball players Jordan Ra'oof and Kyle Brown, along with then-junior Troy Whiteside came up with a platform for minority students in the Ivy League to express their perspectives and experiences. The site is called IvyUntold.

Earlier this week, Ra'oof, who just graduated from School of Hotel Administration wrote an article about his experiences playing at Cornell.

He played in 27 games, averaging 6.4 minutes in his first year playing under Coach Bill Courtney. In his second year, he started 25 or 28 games, averaging 19.1 minutes a game. In his junior year, which was the first under Coach Earl, he missed the entire year recovering from off-season surgery. Returning for his senior year, he was elected co-captain, but found himself behind Stone Gettings, Steve Julian, Josh Warren and Jimmy Boeheim on the front court depth chart. As a result, Abdur-Ra'oof only appeared in 13 games (1 Senior Night start) and averaged 5.5 minutes a game.
It appears that Abdur-Ra'oof, who only played 3 seasons, has decided to forgo being a graduate transfer and is starting work in NYC.
