- Keyshawn Copeland 6-3 180 lb QB (VA) - Offers from UVA, St. Francis
Bison got their 5th commitment today from QB Keyshawn Copeland who plays for CD Hylton, a strong program in Woodbridge VA. Copeland had a couple of big camp performances recently and picked up an offer from UVA. It's unclear why he hadn't picked up more than the three he had. He was a HS teammate of rising Bison soph Brandon Benson, who worked his way into last year's starting lineup at strong safety.
Copeland played for a run-oriented team last year, but still threw for 1600 yards and 23 TD's. During his Virginia visit, he clocked a 4.52 40 and also reportedly has a 4.48. Was ranked by one Virginia recruiting source as the 4th best junior in the state.
